Meet E.V. Neubauer
E.V. Neubauer is a children’s fiction writer and co-creator of Willow’s World who believes childhood is made richer by imagination, curiosity, and the courage to explore beyond what we already know.
Through Willow’s adventures, E.V. hopes to create stories that capture the wonder of discovering the world for the first time—the exciting parts, the uncertain parts, the wonderfully silly parts, and all of the little lessons we collect along the way. She believes stories can help children understand themselves and others, find confidence when something feels difficult, and discover just how much magic can be hiding in an ordinary day.
At the heart of her writing is a love for stories that feel warm, playful, and timeless: the kind children ask to hear again and again, and the kind families remember long after bedtime is over.
When she isn’t writing, E.V. can usually be found in her garden, enjoying the beauty of the outdoors, or relaxing at home with her two cats who are always nearby to offer inspiration, companionship, and their own opinions about how the story should go.
Meet Alyssa Mae
Alyssa Mae is a writer, lifelong storyteller, and co-creator of Willow’s World who believes childhood should be filled with curiosity, imagination, and the freedom to dream big.
She writes stories for the child who asks a million questions, feels things deeply, gets a little nervous about trying something new—and discovers that being brave doesn’t always mean being fearless.
Through Willow and her adventures, Alyssa hopes to create the kinds of stories she has always loved most: ones that make children laugh, help them feel understood, and leave them believing the world is still full of wonderful things waiting to be discovered.
When she isn’t writing, Alyssa can usually be found dreaming up her next creative project, loving on her family and the animals in her life, or finding a little too much magic in ordinary things.
Our Mission
At Willow’s World, we believe every child deserves to feel seen, heard, valued, loved—and brave enough to discover who they are.
Through the curious eyes of Willow Grace, an exuberant little Labrador puppy with a very big world to explore, children experience the excitement, uncertainty, silliness, and wonder that come with growing up.
Willow doesn’t always know what to do. She makes mistakes. She gets nervous. She misunderstands things, finds herself in unexpected situations, and sometimes discovers that trying something new is harder than she thought.
But she keeps going.
Along the way, Willow learns about kindness, courage, friendship, family, curiosity, compassion, and what it means to believe in herself.
Our mission is to create beautiful, heartfelt stories that help children navigate their own big feelings and little adventures—while reminding them that they are never alone in figuring things out.
Because every child deserves stories that make them feel a little braver, a little more curious, and a whole lot more loved.
And every Willow’s World story should end the same way:

Our Vision
We dream of Willow’s World becoming the kind of storybook series that lives on childhood bookshelves for years—and eventually finds its way onto another little reader’s shelf.
The books children ask for one more time before bed.
The stories parents can quote because they’ve read them a hundred times.
The characters who begin to feel less like characters and more like old friends.
Willow’s adventures are rooted in the timeless experiences of childhood: trying something for the first time, making mistakes, asking questions, meeting new friends, feeling afraid, discovering something wonderful, and realizing you’re capable of more than you thought.
The world around children will keep changing.
But some things shouldn’t.
Kindness matters.
